These first few weeks of class have been very informative. I learned how to properly write a resume and cover letter. With the help of peers and professional resources I was able to create the best version of my resume and cover letter. I also gained knowledge in job networking. I created a LinkedIn and Handshake profile to begin searching for possible internships. I have also, been networking on other websites as well as with peers and family to scope out any opportunities. Networking has led me to a possible internship opportunity with The Borgen Project. I am still in the process of being interviewed and can’t wait to post updates on this opportunity.
