Bringing the Vision to Life: Refining Sam’s Gallery & Finalizing Joe’s Website

This past week has been all about refining, experimenting, and getting closer to the finish line and two important parts of my project-showcasing Sam’s work in a more professional way and wrapping up the final parts of Joe’s website.

One of my main focuses this week has been finding the best way to display Sam’s photos in a professional format period since his work is centered around house projects, I decided to dedicate a page to before and after projects with pictures of his work. This layout not only makes the transformations more impactful, but it helps visitors understand the quality and value of its work. Seeing a comparison between the starting point and the finished result really brings the skills to life.

Along with that I have been experimenting with putting a slideshow on the page as well to display additional images from each project. I wanted to include more of his photos in a clean and professional way but also make it easier for users to navigate. While I’ve made progress, I’m still working on refining how these images are presented so everything feels cohesive and polished. Finding the balance between functionality and design has been a learning process, but I can tell I’m getting closer to the final look that I want.

At the same time, I’ve been putting the last few finishing touches on Joe’s website, and it feels like I’m in the last stage. Joe has told me that he’s very happy with how everything has turned out so far, especially the layout and overall usability of the site. One of the biggest wins has been making it easy for customers to leave reviews on the customer reviews page. Accessibility has also been a key focus, ensuring that the site is user friendly.

Overall, this week has been about taking everything I’ve built so far and refining it and polishing it into a more professional user focused format. While there are still a few details I must finalize-especially with Sam’s photo displays-I feel that I am nearing the point where everything is coming together. It has been rewarding to see both products evolve and to know that I am very close to delivering something that not only looks good but also works effectively for real users.
