Laying the Foundation: One Site Paused, Another Takes Shape

This week has been a big step forward in my web design work—even if part of it involved hitting a temporary pause.

I made great progress on building Joe’s website and got a really solid foundation in place. The layout, structure, and overall feel of the site are coming together very nicely, and it’s exciting and rewarding to see it start to take shape. Right now, I’m at a bit of a pause while I wait for Joe to send over more images and customer reviews. These pieces are important for bringing the site to life and making it feel complete and showing that Joe has experience in his field and is trustworthy. Although, once I have them, I’ll be able to push things forward quickly. I am looking forward to seeing the whole site come together!

On the other hand, I’ve made some really strong progress working with Sam on his business, Handy House Helpers. Our conversations have been super productive, and we’ve developed a clear plan for his website. We’ve talked through what pages he’ll need, what kind of content should go on each one, and the overall design vision. I was able to write out his agreement form and am just waiting for the final approval! It’s been great collaborating and I look forward to bringing his vision for his website to the screen!

Overall, this week has been a mix of building, planning, and collaboration—laying the groundwork for two very different but exciting websites. Looking forward to getting back into Joe’s site soon and continuing to bring both visions to life.
